The penthouse is located at the exclusive Gran Calahonda Complex built in 2002. There is level access from the basement garage or from street level into the lift and into the apartment.
Outside
The apartment has its own private roof terraces, not overlooked by any others. The penthouse apartment is within a gated complex with automatic gates and basement garage parking.
The complex has communal landscaped gardens with 2 swimming pools and children's paddling pool, with showers and toilets near the pools. There is a hand raquet court.
The gardens and communal areas are regularly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Coast/Beach
Calahonda beach is a 5 minute walk. There are many larger beaches between Fuengirola and Puerto Banus between 5 and 20 minutes drive.
Golf
There are many local golf courses within a short drive along the coast.
Travel
The nearest airport is at Malaga, 25 mins drive along the main coast road. The apartment is easily found a few minutes off the coast road. A car is recommended in order to enjoy other areas along the Costa del Sol and can be arranged at the airport or prebooked.
However, the apartment is very convenient for local shops, beach and a variety of restaurants at the local complexes of El Zoco and Calahonda and a car is not necessary.
Taxis can be taken taken from the airport at a cost of 35 Euros.

Further Details
El Zoco is the nearest shopping complex, with supermarket, bank, with a leafy open air square surrounded by plenty of good restaurants (Italian, Chinese, Indian, French, English pub, etc.) with indoor and outdoor eating areas, and musicians serenading.
There are many other shops, restaurants and attractions slightly further afield, including the pretty marina at Cabopino, long beachfront at Marbella and harbour at Puerto Banus.
